Highlights of the Month
Our Lady Peace announced they will be reviving their Summersault festival in September after 19 years!

Summersault has had many notable bands and artists as part of the festival line-up, including Moist, I Mother Earth, Sloan, Esthero and Treble Charger in 1998, as well as The Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, A Perfect Circle, The Catherine Wheel, Treble Charger, Eve 6, Sum 41 and Deftones in 2000.
Scott Helman recently teamed up with Johnny Orlando to cover 'Bury A Friend' by Billie Eilish.

Myles Castello premiered the music video for his latest single, "Way Off" on May 24th!

Simple Plan announced that they will be joining Blink-182 and Neck Deep for a show in Toronto on July 7th! You can get tickets and more info here!

The Tea Party have completed the North American leg of the Black River Tour. They performed at 45 shows across Canada and the United States! Spotlight: Our Lady Peace
When Mark Van Doren, the American poet and teacher, wrote his famous work, "Our Lady Peace" in 1943, he couldn't have imagined the concept of rock'n'roll, let alone that a Canadian rock group would adopt his title for their name. Composed of Raine Maida, Duncan Coutts, Steve Mazur and Jason Pierce, Our Lady Peace is one of the most successful bands in Canada today. The band has sold over 5 million albums worldwide, won four JUNO Awards and ten Much Music Video Awards - the most MMVA's ever awarded to any artist or group. They have been a consistent player on the world stage with constant touring, and have had continued success releasing albums throughout the past few decades, with 2018’s SOMETHINGNESS being the most recent. Our Lady Peace is set to support fellow 90's alt-rockers Bush and Live on their upcoming massive North American tour, The ALT-IMATE Tour, which runs from June 6th through mid-September. Of the upcoming trek, OLP’s Raine Maida commented, “The ALTI-MATE Tour is magic. Coming up in the late 90’s we had all played together on random festivals in America but never actually toured together. To have this opportunity now for both us and the fans is a dream.”
Our Lady Peace will then headline the revival of their signature Summersault festival, this time with Bush and Live, as well as Dear Rouge and Human Kebab as support. The Summersault festival was first launched by Our Lady Peace in 1998 at Molson Park in Barrie, Ontario to over 35,000 fans, and included performances from the band themselves, Moist, I Mother Earth, Sloan, Esthero and Treble Charger. In 2000, Summersault returned with a national tour, featuring Our Lady Peace, The Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, A Perfect Circle, The Catherine Wheel, Treble Charger, Eve 6, Sum 41 and Deftones on the bill. This year's Summersault festival will take place mid-September, with 5 shows happening across parts of Canada. Tickets and more info can be found here!

We asked Rob to curate his ultimate road trip playlist:
"I love road trips! Ask anyone who knows me, I love to drive. I love cars. I love bikes. You name it, if it has a motor, I’ll want to take it for a spin. Long road trips are especially my favourite. I’m currently starting to plan my trip to California next winter (over 4000 kms one-way) and I’ll be listening to soooo much music...oh yeah, I also love music.
These songs are arranged in a sequence that reflects the various moods I’m in when I’m on the road. I usually start off feeling happy and optimistic about the journey ahead and want to ease into the trip…I put on some music that gets me thinking about the journey ahead as I start to clear my mind. The tempo gradually starts to increase and the volume gets a little louder…the music gets a little more aggressive and that usually gets my adrenaline going as I continue to push forward (always doing the speed limit, officer)…by the end of this playlist below, I’ll have to fill up the gas tank again, grab another coffee and hit the road again!"
