From a young age Andee (Andrée-Anne Leclerc) surrounded herself with popular music, both in French and English. In 2011, she earned a coveted finalist spot on one of Quebec’s highest-rated television shows, Star Academie and following that, was requested by Vancouver pop band Hedley to record a French adaptation of their hit single, “Kiss You Inside Out” which topped the charts in Quebec for several months. Her undeniable talents have earned her recognition from the music industry, as well as her peers. In February 2014, Andee landed a recording contract with Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading Music Company which was quickly followed by a management contract with Coalition Music Management. These new partnerships led to her song “We Are Gold” being chosen as one of the musical features in the CBC’s coverage of the 2014 Sochi Olympics. Her first English album, Black and White Heart, was released May 26th 2015, and was produced by Sébastien Lefebvre, guitarist of Canadian pop band Simple Plan. After hearing Andee’s first single, “Never Gone” in the fall of 2014, Andee was invited to tour Canada with Demi Lovato. Her career is off to an amazing start with her first two singles “Never Gone” and “Sorries” breaking into the Billboard Top 100, with her third single “Black and White Heart” on the rise.
